Talech was a Palo Alto-based iPad point-of-sale software platform serving small and medium-sized retail and restaurant operators across the United States. The platform offered inventory management, employee tracking, sales reporting, and payment processing in a streamlined tablet-based interface designed for ease of use at the counter. Talech was subsequently acquired by US Bank and rebranded as Elavon Point of Sale, integrating its capabilities into US Bank's broader merchant services ecosystem. As a Heckler partner, Talech paired its iPad POS software with Heckler's countertop enclosures and POS stands, giving retail and hospitality operators a complete, durable counter setup. Their Palo Alto headquarters anchored their work with small business operators across North America.
